Update

What a nice beach! Maybe I'll move there!

Update

1-Stack 4 has only a few units left that need glass polished. There are also several railings that need to be reset and then we hope to be done.

2-Stack 5 shutters are almost all up. We could be done on this stack in a few weeks.

3-Stack 6 railing installation is scheduled to begin tomorrow.

4-Stack 7 is moving along. 2 sets of sliding doors are out as well as 3 kitchen doors. Concrete is being inspected to determine the repairs needed.

5-Stack 8 has excavations beginning on the balcony decks.

6-Work is starting on the parapet walls on the 2nd floor of our parking structure. There is also work going on the ramp.

7-We are still waiting for a permit for the “wet room” roof. What a surprise!

8-Our foreman today told us that he has almost completed identifying and correcting the work of the fired foreman. Thank God he got fired or we might still be working on the first stack!

Reminder

If you need a new A/C unit or water heater, we want you to do it asap, but don’t forget to let Ali know what is going on. The city needs to inspect after the installation at some point. When the inspector does show up they get upset if the condo doesn’t have paperwork and if your a/c contractor or plumber did not file with us and the city. They can, and have issued fines. The fines are issued to you, so remind your contractors.

A Funny Moment

Yesterday I see a city inspector in front of the building. Ali was running around with the contractor and I couldn’t get her on the phone, so I asked how I could help him. It turned out he was from the Health Department to do an inspection of the pool. I told him we have no chlorine in the pool and it is absolutely filthy. Then I told him it was under construction and is unfilled and unused. Lucky for me he had a sense of humor and got hysterical laughing!
