As I said last week, there was a 4 day weekend and we did not expect a huge surge of work.
1-Stack 7 shutters have been put up for the owners who wanted them to be. Our engineer has now inspected some of them and is continuing on the others so the contractors can make any adjustments needed.
2-Stack 8 is continuing with a few of the sliders being reinstalled and few others being removed for repairs to the concrete around it.
3-The 8 stack window drop, in the front of the building has started to be painted! This is good news. When it is done the contractor can move on to the 1 stack window drop on the other side of the front.
4-Stack 1 chipping and initial work is beginning. No, we are not putting our initials in the wet concrete!
5-The window area between stacks 7 and 8 are having stucco removed to expose the areas that need repair.
6-The second floor parking area is having lines drawn. Over the weekend bumpers will start to be installed. There was a short delay due to the unavailability of the epoxy needed for the bumpers. Our project manager found some recently and had it delivered.
7-We are still waiting for replacement glass to be available for those of you with damaged glass. You haven't been forgotten about. It is believed to be somewhere in a container in the port of Los Angeles.
Hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving and that those of you celebrating Chanukah are also enjoying the holiday. Chag sameach! If you don't celebrate Chanukah, enjoy some potato pancakes anyway. They are good and are also considered a German delicacy! If not, you can always go for the always reliable jelly donut!
