Happy Holidays!

Wow, what a difference a couple years can make! Two of our board members resigned and moved out because of personal attacks 2 years ago. I had some cancer issues and had to try to get replacements and after Ali left, I tried to work with 5 different managers and assume the presidents position.

HOWEVER, we now have a VERY cohesive board and a great manager!! Many new owners and the snowbirds have returned and we have a great group of owners now. They smile, greet you and even offer to HELP! We had 2 pool parties for all in the last few months and enjoyed all the attendees. We now have committees to set up more events, captains to help with projects (like the great job renovating the cabana room and rec room), monitoring the parking until the fence is in, right after the parking lot is completed (waiting on city permits).

Our board is PHENOMENAL and working hard on all these projects. Rich is very proficient and knowledgeable as treasurer, Stella and Herb are always available to help and did so much work on the areas I mentioned (and add so much cheer). And STEVE has been on the board since father time (like 14 years) and is always there to help solve complex issues with his building knowledge. He will resign this year so be sure to THANK him! He will continue as advisor. Thanks Steve!

Tiffany, our property manager has been a tremendous help and takes so much off our shoulders. She is so dedicated. We would have been overwhelmed with all the projects without her. She, Donna and staff help guide us and problem solve. She just celebrated her 1 year anniversary with us. I would have no hair on my head without her,  LOL Thank you

A few updates: We hired a specialized company to complete a RESERVE STUDY of our building.  This encompasses a full assessment of ALL aspects of the property . This will help us understand what upcoming expenditures on projects in the next several years. We are in the process of dissecting all that information so we may present it to all owners.  That should help everyone understand all aspects of our building. Additionally, we hired engineers to address the mandatory emergency life support system (ELSS). This requires us to update all aspects of safety protocol.  I met with our contractors the other day, and we were grandfathered (since we started it immediately) and as a result we are 2 years ahead of the mandates. This gives us more options and saves money.

We met with our construction team this morning and they hope to finish 1 and 2 stack relatively soon and then touch ups . No promises...it changes with what they discover during excavations and inspections.

AGAIN a special thanks to our staff (Henry, Simon and Monique) the board and our great manager!! If you want to give Xmas presents to them ,you can drop off at office or personally give to them.

I am enthused to see 5 years of labor finally pay off for all of us with a great place to live. Have a very blessed holiday season!

Best wishes,

Pete Wilsens

Board President
