This Week's Update

First a little of nature’s beauty and here now the news.

1-Stacks 4 and 5 are finished with the exception of 2 units that need some glass refinishing on the outside of the sliders and one unit that needs a shutter lock which is on order. Surveys for interior damage and needed touch-ups will be sent out by Ali next week. Stay tuned.

2-Stack 6 is in the process of touch-ups in anticipation of beginning its final inspections. Those inspections should begin next week if Mother Nature lets us.

3-Stack 7 has had the holes drilled for the railings. Now the balcony floors are being prepared for the waterproofing and the floor finishing. The 7 stack bedrooms window wall is finished on floors 2 through 7. Excavations will begin on the next 1/3 of the windows next week.

4-Stack 8 balconies should get their limits approved for the excavations done and placement of new concrete should begin next week. There are 4 floors left where balcony excavations will begin next week. Slider removal is scheduled to begin the week of the 26th.

5-8 stack windows, aka the front of the building, is in the process of being cleaned, waterproofed, painted and forms prepared for concrete placement next week. This will close up all of the areas currently open to the elements in the front of the building.

6-As I had previously reported to you, the rain ruined the 2 material samples the engineer was deciding on for the 2nd floor parking deck. They redid it and an epoxy was decided upon. We are now waiting for delivery of enough epoxy to cover the entire deck.
