update and board meeting



I apologize for not posting updates lately. The board has been so busy that it just didn't happen.

We are happy to see many new friendly faces! Values are way up, so are new sales.

However, there is STILL a very small group that causes us a lot of grief. It gets to the point of being harassing and libelous. One particular woman and her group are constantly demanding a lot of time from the board, the management company and the staff, and this costs the condo money, because it occupies time the office, management and staff to fulfill such requests when they could be doing other worthwhile tasks. We also have to engage the services of our lawyers so as not to have another lawsuit, thus costing the condo MORE money! WHY would anyone sue a neighbor or volunteer board? In addition, WEEKS ago, after gathering all the information this group requested, no one has yet come to look at any of it.By the way, we have just finished our ANNUAL INDEPENDENT audit, which will be provided to EVERYONE. I believe this should be sufficient information for all.

I see why Stan, past president, and our director not only resigned, but also moved! I have said it before, if this group doesn't cease their petty, self-serving antics, I will resign also! If you do not like what is happening here at this condo, we suggest you find another condo that meets your requirements.

Here are some issues the board and management have had to deal with:


  1. One person moved out, shut off all their power, and left us to clean up.

  2. Two owners changed their locks, left no new key with the office, and left without responding to 2 months of attempts to reach them. We had to call a locksmith to get into their units after receiving complaints from other owners about bugs and water leaks. costs the owners money for services rendered.

IMPORTANT--Please be careful who you listen to about maintaining your condo, issues with the construction, and who you have looking after your unit when you are not here!! If you have question, email the office.

This particular group also called the city inspector 4 TIMES. Each time, the city stated that we are doing a good job and they don't know why these people called them.

No names will be given, due to threats of lawsuits.

The concrete restoration and now the start of the state mandated Emergency Life Support System takes up many hours every day. Sometimes we are overwhelmed. I don;t think many realize all the time and aggravation the board, office and management goes through for the benefit of ALL owners, renters and guests. Also realize, the board members are ALSO owners and are subject to the same rules and assessments as everyone else.
