Hope all of our Aristocrats are well.
-Our inspections on stacks 4 and 5 are low priority right now since other areas need to be closed up to the weather. However, there are no safety or heavy duty jobs needed. Please feel free to use your balconies if you haven't already. When inspections are done, the guys are big and strong and can move anything they have to. (Look at me telling everyone to use their balconies while it is pouring out!)
-Stack 6 has all of its heavy work complete and is being prepped for final inspections in the next few weeks.
-Depending on the weather, the floating of the balconies on 7 stack will be completed by the end of the week. Does it make sense that you can't float a balcony while it rains? Who knows! The bedroom window area of 7 stack has begun work. They are doing it 1/3 at a time so nothing is open too long. The first 1/3 will be inspected and refilled starting this week.
-Stack 8 balconies will enter the final chipping phase next week.
-The front of the building will have wooden forms built, starting tomorrow so that the open areas can be closed with fresh concrete.
-The second floor parking deck was supposed to have a demonstration of the 2 materials that could be used. Our engineer was to decide which one suits our requirements better. That was washed out today and has to be rescheduled.
-There will be no work on Monday, July 5.
-Our contractor is now ordering all material over a month in advance. There is a nationwide shortage of building materials. What they are doing will help if the manufacturers don't run out of what we need. My fingers are crossed!
