Good morning Aristocrats wherever you may be! Hope everyone is healthy!
-If you live in stacks 4 and 5, starting at 9:30 AM on Friday, you can expect a visit from our inspector and construction foreman. We currently have 14 units completed and another 16 to be inspected. Tomorrow as many as possible will be inspected. Ali will be sending more specific info to those involved.
-It seems that someone woke up the City of Pompano! Our pool railings and the railings near the trash chutes were finally approved! The permit for the roof of the wet room was looked at and more information was requested. The contractor is providing that info now.
-Stack 6 is involved with shutter work. Due to the fact that some were installed on 2 layers of tile, parts had to be custom made to put them back on the tile-less floor.
-Stack 7 is awaiting deck sloping. It is waiting until no one is working below.
-Stack 8 has rebar being cleaned and waterproofed so that new concrete can be applied.
-Stack 7 windows will be starting next week.
-The front of the building that is currently being worked on, the 8 stack windows, had more damage than anticipated. Work is continuing a few more weeks.
-Our parking deck repairs are completed and is now ready for waterproofing. However, there was a lot more damage than anticipated. It seems that every time there was an issue, a new layer of the top coat was added. When it was removed, all of the cracks and deteriorated concrete was sitting there. It was fixed, but is not smooth to finish. The contractor will have to add a step to smooth it out. The problem is that when this topping is added it needs to cure for 28 days before it can be waterproofed. Stay tuned!
