Update:
Our management company decided to take a different course with the onsite manager. It's Their employee and their call with our approval. Friday, Shatora, the new onsite manager will work alongside Donna, our management company, and Shayla. We have many updates to complete in the net two weeks.WE also stated we need more onsite training to be familiarized with the building and owners and rules
The reconstruction is finishing 7 and 8 stack stucco (wallcovering) and painting in the next few days. The railings will start after the punchlists are competed and approved by our engineer. Be sure to fill it out when provided to you.
Our board meeting was very helpful, providing the process for the punchlists and approvals again The engineer and construction company provided necessary information and answered questions brought up by owners. Unfortunately, many owners don't attend or zoom the meetings. Again, fill out your punchlists when they are given to you!
The next move is to clean up the pool area and restore the pool rec room. They can start that because excavations will be completed on stacks 7 & 8. Hopefully no more grinding!!
Parking is always an issue and the management company will enforce the rules of the association. If you have one assigned space, you are allowed to park ONE vehicle. Obviously, that must be enforced and after this 3RD NOTIFICATION, you will be fined if not registered at the front desk AND have a VALID STICKER! Unfortunately they are looking at fining, towing or booting vehicles not registered properly. No one wants that , so BE FAIR AND HONEST and be forewarned. Everyone wants us to be a fair community. You are entitled to what is yours. Lets hope this ends. Guests MUST register at the front desk or they are NOT validated to park here. Many cars are parking in our parking spaces and heading to the beach so loss of spots. Owners of rentals, advise your renter.Provide the unit #,type vehicle, license #
The best news is we are on the last 2 stacks, so the end is in sight (we hope!).
Help each other out, watch for problem areas, and be NICE to the new manager. Much needs to be done. best way ,is send an email to the office
We are working on an improved closing list for when people vacate their units and return "home" for the summer. Ideas are always welcome!
We see alot of new friendly faces as units are selling fast AND at a greatly appreciated price.Guess we are doing something right..All the best
Be managers of solutions. BE Not a part of the problem!
Thank you!
