7-08 window wall almost complete and texture left to finish then paint . Then start punch list completion on 07 balconies. 8 stack balconies units 16,05,03 doors are out and will be reinstalled this week. stack 1 window drop has another 2 weeks until we reach limits of excavation and approval to place concrete. stack 1 balconies will receive approval to place concrete this week coming.. Goal for moving stack 7 swing to stack 2 by April 1st.
We have another board meeting set up Thursday at 6:30 in person in the rec room or on zoom. more details upcoming You can ask questions of the construction contractor for full disclosure as have been our 232 or so prior postings. REMEMBER, this is a RESTORATION contract, not a BEAUTIFICATION project. The building was in disrepair and now we are going thru the 50 year certification to get it up to code. Lots of inspections and meetings ongoing. Remember also you have a punch list to send to the office which the contractors will address individually. This is not up to the board ,rather the contractor and engineer to inspect AND approve
Second floor parking--We have numerous emails to the city to make a determination as to what is "code"...NOT our code, but the city's code. I also met with the inspector to get this done. They are still deciding. (Typical city delays).
AGAIN--if you have guests or are a guest in the condo, ALL GUESTS MUST REGISTER THEIR VEHICLES AT THE OFFICE AND OBTAIN A PARKING STICKER!!! Sorry, but trucks are against condo rules inside the "gated" area.
New UPS, FEDEX, and Amazon rule to keep the mail room clean:
Delivery personnel are told to deliver packages TO YOUR DOOR or at least put them on the new shelves in the mail room.
ALL contractors must check in at the office prior to doing any work in units. We need to track who is coming into the building and make sure they are permitted by the city. Tell your contractors!
