Updates and Reminders for 9/17

Hello Aristocrats! Hope everyone is healthy and having a good day.

-Simon was back in the hospital again. He got out now for the second time earlier this week. Our thoughts and prayers are with him.

-Our Board Member, Ron Zeller, has had to put his unit up for sale. George Brennan has graciously agreed to take his place on the Board for now. George has many years of experience as President of a condo board in his area of New York City. His experience will certainly be appreciated and depended upon.

-Stack 6 is still going through final inspections. The weather has kept this from happening faster, but so far we are making progress.

-Stack 7 is being cleaned and detailed so that the top coat of the deck can start being applied next week. They are trying hard to finish prior to the end of the month.

-Stack 8 will start removal of sliding doors next week, weather permitting. They will not be done all at once. Ali will let you know when it is your turn. Those "eyelids" on the front of the building are to be inspected today.

-Stack 1 balconies have been cleared of tile and have been polished smoothed to determine where there is concrete spalling. Once determined, excavations can start next week. Windows have been covered and the balconies have been secured. STACK ONE BALCONIES ARE NOT SAFE TO USE FROM NOW UNTIL FINAL INSPECTIONS DOWN THE ROAD! It is your safety and your life at stake. Please don't try to figure out how to get on an unsafe balcony!

-The 2nd floor parking deck has very little epoxy left to apply, followed by an inspection. Then the entire top coat can be applied.

-The Fire Stairwell has the swing stage set up. The foreman is coordinating with the railing contractor so they can repair concrete, remove old railings and install new ones as quickly as possible.

-A reminder. There are still about 40 owners who did not pay the August 15th concrete assessment. Please pay as soon as possible if you haven't already. We really don't want to charge all of those late fees.
