Not Pompano Beach. Fort Lauderdale. Also kind of pretty.
1-The front door is closed until further notice!!! Construction tape and cones have been placed around the area to keep everyone out of the construction zone. There is work going on overhead. Everyone will have to use the back door until the overhead work is completed on the front of the building. Please note that the circular drive in the front of the building is also closed. Falling debris could also damage your car.
2-Stack 4 is finishing up the last little touch ups. We expect to be done soon.
3-Stack 5 still has a few minor jobs to finish before it is ready for touch ups.
4-Work on 6 is continuing. The last of the larger jobs there are being finished.
5-Stack 7 is having concrete curbs repaired. Then LOTS of stucco to follow.
6-Stack 8 and the front of the building are having bad concrete chipped out.
7-We are awaiting approval on the waterproof membrane for the second floor parking area. Once approved, it can be installed.
8-EARLY WARNING-One day next week water will be shut off from 9 AM until
4 PM to replace the old "back flow pipes" which provide water to the building. This is required by the City of Pompano since our 50 year old valves no longer function. Sounds like my valves, but my valves are even older!
